Kamakhya Temple, located in Guwahati, Assam, is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas—holy sites where parts of Goddess Sati’s body are believed to have fallen. According to Hindu mythology, Lord Vishnu used his Sudarshan Chakra to cut Sati’s body to calm Lord Shiva’s grief, and each site where a piece fell became a Shakti Peetha.

Kamakhya is especially revered for its unique rituals and symbolizes the feminine divine powers of creation, preservation, and destruction. Due to its location in the northeast, it is challenging for devotees from northern India to visit frequently.

The Divine Journey of Sadhvi Guru Didi Maa Sanjana Giri Ji

Blessed by Maa Kamakhya and guided by Param Pujya Mahamandleshwar Sadhvi Guru Didi Maa Sanjana Giri Ji Maharaj of Niranjani Akhara, Haridwar — often called “Maa Kamakhya’s daughter” in her early life — has had many divine experiences.

In one instance, while worshipping in the sanctum of the Kamakhya Temple, she mysteriously disappeared for two days. Upon return, she revealed that Maa Kamakhya had personally blessed her and asked her to spread the goddess’s glory worldwide.

In another miraculous event, Sadhvi Ji and her family survived a fatal car accident, saved by an unseen divine force believed to be Maa Kamakhya’s grace.

Her life’s mission is to establish Maa Kamakhya Divya Dham in NCR, based on the Trishakti concept — worshipping Maa Kamakhya, Mahalakshmi, and Maa Saraswati — fulfilling a lifelong dream to serve both spiritual and worldly well-being.

Facilities & Divine Presence at Maa Kamakhya Divya Dham

The upcoming Maa Kamakhya Divya Dham will offer facilities like charitable girls’ schools and colleges, women’s hospitals, cow shelters, meditation centres, and skill development institutes for women.

Sadhvi Ji has already established a Maa Kamakhya Ashram and temple in Sector-18, Faridabad, where thousands receive blessings weekly.

To ensure the same divine energy as the original Kamakhya Temple in Assam, sacred soil, stones, and idols from its sanctum have been brought to the new Dham.
